Clinician: Skip Heagle played in the men's open fast pitch open league for 30 years, playing with and against the world's best players. Skip played mostly the infield positions of shortstop and 3rd base, but was fortunate enough to have played the game long enough to have played every position on the field at least once!  Skip moved into fastpitch coaching 25 years ago with the city of Inver Grove Heights, MN, coaching girls from the ages of 6 to 18.  Within two years he became a board member and then held the President role for the last eight years of his time with Inver Grove Heights Fastpitch Association.

Skip then started working with Sean Hall and the Sting Club organization where he coached girls of all ages.  Highlights of his time with the Sting include leading a 16u team to 3rd place in state and a 3rd place finish in nationals.  This partnership with Sean has continued over the past nine years with the most recent involvement being with S&C Sports and the Midwest Speed Club organization.

Skip is focused on motivating and teaching girls the skills to allow them to advance in the sport of fastpitch, with an emphasis on recruitment options at any division college level for those who seek it.  He has been coaching High School softball for the past five years starting with assistant varsity coach at South Saint Paul High School, and currently is beginning his 2nd year as the Head Coach of Mahtomedi High School Fastpitch program where he partners closely with the Mahtomedi Fastpitch Association.
